Payment FAQs
Q: How secure is your payment protocol?
A: Our payment protocol is carried out via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) via our payment transaction partners WorldPay and PayPal. WorldPay and PayPal handle all security in the payment procedure and no details are recorded on our web site as you are transferred for the duration of the payment procedure to theirs. After your payment has been made you are returned to EyeInvent.
Q: What payment options do you provide?
A: We provide two payment options. Our secure on-line payment with WorldPay allows us to process payments in Pounds Sterling (UK), US Dollars, and Euros. PayPal is also available as a payment option (note that a PayPal account is not required to use this payment method).
Q: What Cards to you accept?
A: EyeInvent accepts payments via: Visa Credit; Visa Debit; Visa Electron; Mastercard Credit; Mastercard Debit; Maestro; JCB; and Solo.
Q: Why should I trust your payment services?
A: Our payment services are carried out on separate sites (www.worldpay.com and www.paypay.com) that specialize in Internet payments using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the standard in providing secure transactions over the Internet.

Download and Subscription FAQs
Q: What is my Account page?
A: Your Account Page shows your order history, allows you to manage your profile, and lets you set the kind of payment method as either Subscription (only shown after a subscription has been paid for) or Pay Per Purchase (PPP) so you may download any instant download orders.
Q: I have a Subscription. How do I download images?
A: All images are delivered in a zip file and are available for immediate download from your EyeInvent account following payment. Subscriptions allow you to purchase a 6 month or 1 year right to download images of a certain size from EyeInvent.
Visit your Account Page and change your payment method from Pay Per Purchase (PPP) to your current subscription using the "Payment Method" link. You will then be able to browse the gallery for the images you wish to download, and a download link will replace the default payment links in the Gallery at the base of each image product page.
Q: How many kinds of Subscriptions are there?
A: There are four subscription types: Bronze for small images, Silver for medium sized images, Gold for large images, and Platinum for the extra large images. Review the Product Page for examples of the differences between the sizes of image available at EyeInvent.
A: How do I pay for a different size image compared to my subscription type?
A: If you wish to pay for additional images of a different size than your subscription allows (for example you have a bronze subscription for small images and you want a single large image) you may pay for an image of a different size by selecting Pay Per Purchase (PPP) as your payment method.
Website FAQs
Q: What is a Lightbox?
A: The EyeInvent Lightbox is YOUR collection of images. You may add up to 30 images to your lightbox. If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to purchase and click on the "add to cart" button.
Q: How do I quickly search EyeInvent?
A: Enter a word into the top right text field under "Keyword Search" and click the "search" button.
By default the EyeInvent quick search uses "Match at least one keyword". If you input "beautiful sunset" (without the quotes) into the quick search field, then the search function will return results for any media that contain either "beautiful" OR "sunset" in its properties.
The EyeInvent quick search system supports the "AND" and NOT" in the quick search function by the use of the plus sign (+) and minus sign (-) respectively in front of the keywords.
-
If you input "beautiful +sunset" (without the quotes) into the search field, the system will only return results for any media that contain both keywords "beautiful" AND "sunset" in its properties.
-
If you input "beautiful "sunset" (without the quotes) into the search field, the system will return results for any media that contain the keyword "beautiful", but this media can't contain the keyword "sunset" in its properties.
-
Note: There must not be any spaces between the second keyword and the input operands (+) or (-) keywords.
Q: Is there an Advanced Seach at EyeInvent?
A: Yes! The EyeInvent Advanced Search function does not use the same algorithms as Quick Search. It offers options allowing you to choose the best method for your searches from the following:
-
Match at least one keyword The system will return results for any media that contain either one of the input keywords in its properties.
-
Match all keywords The system will only return results for any media that contain all input keywords in its properties.
-
Match exact phrase The system will only return results for any media that contains the exact input keyword phrase in its properties.
